Public Kitchen on Tidung Island Receives Logistic Aid

The public kitchen in Tidung Island Urban Village, South Thousand Islands Sub-district received logistical aid from Thousand Islands Baznas Bazis.

Tidung Island Urban Village Head, Hafsah conveyed, his side set up a public kitchen in the urban village office yard to supply foods for 40 residents who are undergoing self-isolation at Integrated Isolation Location (isoter) of SMKN 61 Jakarta.

"We are grateful to receive aid to meet the needs of the residents. We deliberately set up public kitchen thus residents can undergo self-isolation safely and comfortably, and monitored by health workers," he mentioned, Thursday (2/10).

Thousand Islands Baznas Bazis Coordinator, Ridwan Malik added, the aid was given to help the community in dealing with the COVID-19 pandemic.

On this occasion, his side distributed 50 chickens, 20 kilograms of eggs, 10 kilograms of shallots, 2 kilograms of garlic, 5 kilograms of red chilies, 40 kilograms of rice, 1 carton of instant noodles, 10 kilograms of mustard greens, and 20 kilograms of chayote squash.

"Hopefully, it will be useful to ease the burden on residents in dealing with COVID-19," he closed.
